Why am I doing this?

Growing up, I quickly realized that achieving my goals would require sacrifice, discipline, and extra work. Playing for a professional club at a young age meant constantly competing alongside some of the best players, where earning playing time was never guaranteed. I learned early on that simply showing up to team training was not enough — improvement hugely comes from the work you put in outside of practice.

Looking back, I am grateful for that realization because it shaped not only the player I became, but also the person I am today. It inspired me to help develop young players who share the same passion and dreams that I once had.

Soccer has given me more than I could have imagined. It brought me from Sweden to the United States, provided me with a full athletic scholarship and college education, and created unforgettable memories and life-changing experiences throughout my journey as both a student-athlete and professional player.

Because this sport has had such a positive impact on my life, I now feel a responsibility to give back by helping prepare the next generation of players for success — both on and off the field. I am passionate about working with players of all ages and skill levels who are motivated to improve any aspect of their game.

There are few things more rewarding to me than watching a player gain confidence and see the results of their hard work in real time. Seeing young athletes grow through dedication, effort, and belief in themselves is the reason I love coaching.
